Control Systems, Inc.
Control System’s Electronic Recovery Systems to provide capability of converting
laser-printing expense into profit center for Advantage law firm customers.
-Advantage Enterprises, Inc., the leading provider of managed print services for
national law firms, today announced an alliance with Control Systems, Inc., headquartered
in Boca Raton, Florida. With the alliance, Advantage will offer cost recovery
to its Customers within Advantage’s outsourced printer management program.
“As a multi-million dollar revenue source to many law firms, charge back
revenue derived from photocopies made on behalf of clients has eroded over time,”
said Walt Lemmermann, CEO of Advantage Enterprises, Inc. “Copier/laser printer
technology convergence has resulted in the migration of photocopy printing to
laser printers. Many firms have no method for charging back laser printed copies
to their clients as they did with photocopies. Now they do.”
With the Advantage/Control Systems alliance, law firms may re-capture the opportunity
revenue of charging back laser printer copies made for their clients. Control
System’s cost recovery system will now be bundled with Advantage’s
printer management program.
This alliance allows for Advantage to exclusively offer Control Systems’
print control software “Lasertrak” on a rental basis, consistent with
Advantage’s cost per printer pricing scenario.
