Eclipse, the new generation Cost Recovery Terminal from Copitrak, builds on existing experience to offer state-of-the art technology to simultaneously control and track both photocopier and facsimile usage, as well as postage and miscellaneous charges. The terminal combines all of the features of the Copitrak Eclipse and Faxtrak Eclipse terminals in one economical unit that is ideal for offices where a fax machine and photocopies are in close proximity.

Eclipse, built from the ground up as a tablet style terminal on the Windows CE platform, offers unprecedented ease of use with its large touch screen display, built in numeric keyboard, intuitive Smartbar one touch user functionally and biometric reader for finger-print recognition.

Eclipse uses true client/server architecture over TCP/IP to communicate back to central Copitrak server from any point within an existing LAN and WAN network.

Standard Copitrak features such as Search, Recall and Favorites are a touch away; regardless of location making usage simple, fast and accurate. The Copitrak CFX Eclipse series terminal with dual line capability is compatible with all types of Group III and Super G-3 fax machines including those that support memory receiving, high-speed mode and error correction. It includes special features for tracking incoming faxes and it can also accommodate advanced fax features such as group sending (broadcasting). The terminal will also track other miscellaneous disbursements such as postage or courier charges.
 
 

• User information and validation is completely managed by the Eclipse terminal

• Copitrak automatically routes jobs to the users inbox, desktop or personal folders as well as the ability to send jobs to other users via LDAP look up of firm’s e-mail addresses and outside addresses.

• Scan Preview displays the scanned job on the Eclipse screen for alignment, pagination and document confirmation prior to distribution.

STEP 2. The Copitrak Scantrak Monitor software will be running on the MFP Scan Routing Server located at each office. It monitors all scan traffic for the MFP devices that are connected at that office.

When a user logs into the Copitrak terminal Scantrak Monitor then waits for the scan job from the MFP device and counts the pages received and stores that information along with the User, Project Number, Date, Time and other transaction information on the Copitrak Server where it's ready for immediate reporting and transfer to the Accounting system.
STEP 3. User receives his/her scan job with minimal effort! The Copitrak system eliminates the need for the user to search through templates on the MFP device. That speeds up the scanning process improving productivity and adding capture and accountability to the process at the same time!
STEP 1. Users log into the Copitrak Pro or Eclipse terminal with a User ID and Client-Matter number and then press the Scan icon/button. The MFP device is then ready for Scanning.

The user places the scan job on the MFP device, selects Scan from the control panel and presses the Start button. That's it! The Copitrak System will automatically route the scan job back to the users email or personal folder.
